Attracting Wildlife to your Garden

Take a walk around Ryton Organic Gardens with one of our wildlife experts to show you the different habitats and wildlife found within.This includes showing you around Ryton Organic Gardens to spot some of the birds, beasts and insects you may find in your garden and how to encourage them by best organic practice.

You will also be pond-dipping to discover what you can find in our ponds and learn how to make your own wildlife habitat and spot what’s been wandering about.

Sally Cunningham has been working for Garden Organic for over 17 years, and is presently a research officer for the charity. Sally is a wildlife devotee who has been interested in all sorts of creatures in the garden for as long as she can remember. Sally has spent time recording birds for Leicestershire, Warwickshire & Wiltshire for many years so is an exceptional expert in how to encourage all kinds of wildlife in the garden.

You will also get to take home an insect hotel home to kick-start attracting wildlife in your own garden.

This course is suitable at beginner to intermediate level.
