Next Steps in Seed Saving

This is the perfect follow on from the first course, ‘Introduction to Seed Saving’, or is ideal for those with some experience of saving seed from vegetables looking to improve their skills.The day will focus on those annuals that cross and biennial crops of vegetables. Looking at -

  • Isolation
  • Pollination
  • Post-harvest ripening
  • Over-wintering of biennials
  • Drying seed and cleaning seed.

Participants will be able to take home a variety of factsheets to help get you started.

This course will be suitable for someone who has saved their own seed or been on the Introductory course.
